The Poppies

These aren't wildflowers, but I do love them. Poppies! Not the small wild variety, but the large several-inches-across kind. Dramatic! These were a lovely surprise to find on the property in an overgrown flower bed. Come fall, I'm planning to take the seed heads and my sister-in-law, Fogwood214 and I hope to plant more next spring.
